The 12volt Side of Life

The 12volt Side of Life (Part 1)
http://marxrv.com/12volt/12volt.htm

Welcome to the page of all things 12 Volt! The information here was either excerpted from various sources on the web and in the public domain, or results directly from my personal experience. When researching battery specs for this page, I was amazed at the wide variance in some of the information. ---CONTINUED---

The 12volt Side of Life (Part 2)

Hat Tip: Image to rick1, over at EHP-D:

For those of you that have a solar system with 12 volt batteries, no matter if they are car batteries, deep cell marine batteries, agm batteries or lithium batteries, when is the battery fully charged, half charged, etc..

From modernsurvivalblog.com, here's a chart on the voltage of batteries when charged or when they are dead:

Battery State-Of-Charge Chart | 12 Volt Battery Voltage & Specific Gravity
https://modernsurvivalblog.com/alternative-energy/battery-state-of-charge-chart/

The ‘State Of Charge’ (SOC) of a battery is a measurement of how much energy is remaining (percent). It’s like a fuel gauge. Measuring and knowing the SOC of a battery or battery-bank is useful when applying towards alternative energy, or any other situation where you need to know its condition. ---CONTINUED---
