Re: Solar Chargers

Lots of things to consider when using batteries. What Size do you need? How can you recharge them? What is a 'Solar' or 'Marine' battery and much more.

If you are camping, or if the electricity is off while you are at home, then battery operated radios and flashlights are really nice things to have.

If you purchase rechargeable batteries then you could recharge your batteries using the sun if you have a solar battery charger. --- CONTINUED at LINK ---

Just browsing your forums and came across this section. I have a Goal Zero Guide 10 Plus Small Adventure Kit and for anyone looking for a solid addition for their kit I can attest to the quality and performance. It recharges really quickly and is much more reliable than some of the less expensive units. If you want reliability in situations where there isn't room for error, I would suggest a proven setup like Goal Zero.

I love your ApartmentPrepper site and looking forward to browsing through the mounds of information here, too.
